About New York Orthopedic Specialists

Mission Statement

Our friendly staff is dedicated to caring for you and your entire family's orthopedic health and well-being. We view it as our mission to educate our patients about all of their orthopedic health care options and to help guide them to choose a treatment plan that is most suitable and appropriate for their needs.

Doctor's Information

Dr Scott V. Haig has been practicing orthopedic surgery for over 30 years in the Westchester and Fairfield county area just north of New York City. He attended Yale College, Yale University School of Medicine, and completed surgical training at Harvard and Columbia University. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Haig served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University for twenty years. He has written and published two leading surgical textbooks. When not working Dr. Haig enjoys racket sports, running, and fishing. He has taught a weekly bible class since 1996.
